Transport

Industrial transport means the handling of loads or machinery from a department to the other of the establishment.
The machineries that O.R.I. can realize for effecting the industrial transport mainly cover two macros typologies of product:
Transport on rubber

For the transport on rubber the ORI has many choices with different architecture function of the layout and of the number of wheels as well as of their typology. The products on rubber can be towed or have autonomous traction and are distinguished in:

 

  • Trailer trucks: the conformation of the platform and the steering is based on the type of load and the working environment.
  • Self-propelling trailers: the power supply can be battery or Diesel and the traction can be electric or hydrostatic. The Steering of the electro-hydraulic or completely electric type can be simple, sometimes correct, transverse or carousel. The handling can be carried out with the operator on the ground and radio control or with a wire push-button or alternatively with an operator in the cab or on running board and controls.
Rail transport

For rail transport the working environment must be equipped with ground rails to cover the required route. The rail vehicles can be towed or have autonomous traction and are divided into:

 

  • Neutral railway trailer: the movement can be done by pushing or towing the trolley by a rudder or a tow bar
  • Self-propelled railway trailers: the power supply can be a battery, Diesel or electric mains; Traction can be electric or hydrostatic. The movement can be carried out with the operator on the ground and radio control or with a wire push-button or alternatively with an operator in the cab or on board and controls.
All the trailers can be equipped with various options: camber, suspensions or lifting system, brake system, lighting system, stands or Containment Banks, platforms with wooden lining or other material or with a housing for load Integrated or removable.
